Hah! What a great start to a new blog eh?

No, but seriously, I do have a good explanation.

Status is that I've been struggling with just about anything that could cause me trouble, without killing me....
Okay, that's maybe a bit of an overstatement, but I've been pretty unlucky ever since we passed into 2015.

I've barely been to work because of joint- and back-pains, I literally had nights where I'd wake up at 3 am incapable of sleeping because it hurt to lie down... And to stand up. So I've basically used around 2 weeks just sitting down, haven blood drawn for tests and more.
- Like this wasn't bad enough, I had to get ready to go for exam-prepping, our last period at school before our big exam and I needed this approved by my boss. Had to drag myself to work to get things down and approved though it was a living hell moving around.

But now I'm here, halfway through the 2 week school-period, haven't been progressing on my project at all. But I made it to a trip to the ER with stomach pains which, 'luckily', was no more than a bladder-infection. But last Friday.. I caught a cold, a good one! So my weekend at home was spend sleeping and sweating from the fever until I had to leave for school again Sunday eve.

I've practically been nothing but pathetic since my last entry.


But we all now, the good things comes to those who wait.
- I totally expect an A+ on my project!

Other stuff have been going on, but I'll let this be a whine-thread to separate it a little!

My 2015 Lolita Goals

As any other girl I have goals and this post will contain the ones I've set for my Lolita-self
- I'll be doing other posts about art and crafting another day.

I've been on-off the Lolita Fashion since the age of 16 but since I moved out at the age of 18 I haven't really had the financial background to pursue this interest of mine.
But lately I've become able to finance a somewhat decent wardrobe, though still lacking some essentials.
- Hench the Goals!

Let's get started!

♠ I wish to have no dresses without matching socks and head wear ♠

♠ I wish to have shoes in colorways needed to compliment all my gowns ♠

♠ I wish to own more brand-shirts in several colorways ♠

♠ I wish to own decent wigs for the Fashion ♠

♠ I wish to make the dresses I've been hoarding fabrics and lace for during 13-14 ♠

♠ I wish to own brand wrist cuffs ♠

♠ I wish to have the rainbow represented in dresses ♠

So, the goals above are rather wardrobe-inspired but there's one more I though deserved a bit more space.

You see, Kevin has been such a loving and caring boyfriend leaving an entire room in our apartment, just for me to be myself. We've now been living here for almost two years and I'm still not feeling comfortable within these walls.

- Therefor one of my biggest goals for 2015 will be to arrange and decorate my room to compliment my passion for the Lolita Fashion!

I'm quite excited to get working on this one and I hope this blog will help me stay motivated!

Time for the introduction post!

We all know this is going to be line on line with boring facts that most of you probably don't care about to begin with... But I don't see a way out of it, so here we go!

My name is Dorte and I was born and raised in Denmark... And I'm still here!
I'm 24 years old and I live with my boyfriend Kevin and our two cats, Nissa and Dexter in a nice apartment in a bad neighborhood.
I'm currently nearing my final test of becoming a book-seller - Yes, there's an actual education on selling books and board-games! - And I'll be done in about August!
... And when I'm done with that I'll probably just try and find some work to keep up with my expensive hobbies...

Wow... This is harder than I thought?
- Might be the cat lying on my arms while I'm typing, who knows?

Hello everyone!

I've been planning on this blog for some time now, debating what I wanted it to be all about.
You see, I'm a girl with quite a few interests and hobbies and not all of them exactly go hand in hand.
- But there's one thing for all of them which will be my red thread throughout this blog.

Creativity

You all know those annoying chain-posts on facebook "Describe me in one word etc." If I had to box myself like that? Creative would be my word of choice!

So with that determined let me unfold a little more specifically what'll be going on here!

Art - Most of all and since.. Always, I've been drawing, always. Ask my parents and they will tell you, that even today (I'm 24 btw) Giving me pen and paper will be the best way to distract me and keep me occupied!
- I think I'll let you guys have a "My life with art" rundown sometime you know.. For my entertainment..

Makeup - Along with art comes makeup, because sometimes you have to challenge your skills... Or you run out of paper? Makeup had become a big part of the "Me" I am today. I love what makeup can do to your looks. How it can change you on a bad day, into someone.. or thing, entirely different. 
- I secretly dream of becoming a makeup artist, but the possibilities are still quite limited in Denmark and studying abroad is troublesome in too many ways as my life is now. BUT IN TIME!!

Crafting - On a good day! My hands can more than wield the pencils and markers and I'm actually capable of creating.. things.. 
This part is still under development as I've long been working in 2D so what I am doing is upping my game and trying to take all my flat Ideas to a more voluminous level! 
- This involves mostly sewing as I've got a soft spot for cosplaying (I've done quite a few too, but it has been put a bit on pause throughout 2014) But I'm also a sucker for the Japanese Fashion trend called; Lolita.
- I won't even bother explaining, you know Google has the answers you need if you don't know already!

So with these harsh lines drawn I think I've managed to sum up pretty much what I am all about.

No, I realize you actually still know jack about the me-me, but I'll leave that for another time, you know.. Who am I kidding? I need a carrot to lure you guys back in!
